The Simple Story
Simple By Nature Landscape LLC moved to New Hampton 20 plus years ago but it started a long time before that. I am, Erin Peterson, owner/managing member of Simple By Nature Landscape LLC. My love of being outside started at a young age when I asked for a Tonka truck to run my Barbie's around the "construction site". From sun up to sun down I was found outside. This led to me perusing a job in the landscape industry at the age of 15. After high school I attended Stockbridge School of Agriculture, graduating with an Associate Degree in Landscape Contracting. I continued on to complete my Bachelor's Degree at Umass Amherst in Plant and Soil Science with concentration in Floriculture and minor in Business.
After being in business for years on Cape Cod, Simple By Nature Landscape LLC moved to NH in 2004 offering full landscaping services.
Over the years we have worked hard to earn the trust of our long time customers to take care of their properties. This includes a combination of hotels, restaurants, businesses, condominiums, associations, wedding venues and private residences.
We pride ourselves on the teams we build and the work we produce. Our employees stay on board for a long time which is great for us and our customers. This allows us to continually serve you with the same great service. It also allows us to continue to improve on your landscape as we look for ways to stream line your maintenance plan so other projects can be done.

Over the many years Simple By Nature Landscape LLC has been blessed by long term employees who join and grow with us. We tend to be more of a family than a company and this has many benefits for us. Every team has a leader who has become a master in their field but is always looking for ways to learn and expand their knowledge. There are many times that crews work together which helps cross education through out the company.
Our employees are dedicated not only to Simple but the customers we take care of. Most of these customers are also long term customers most over a decade with us. We work with homeowners, event venues, restaurants, hotels, associations and business to create the best landscape for you that represents you!
Beyond your normal maintenance of keeping the lawn to the appropriate height or cleaning up the leaves and weeds the crew looks to improve your property and protect your investment. This is done by knowing the proper plant maintenance and pruning which they are trained on. They also look beyond their immediate job to help you stay on top of the maintenance before something becomes a problem.
The flower crew and décor crew is one in the same if they are not creating you colorful garden spaces or containers you will find them add splashes of seasonal décor to key areas. These displays range from fall, winter, and spring to personal or family celebrations. They will help you create a unique garden or display that will reflect yourself or your business.
In the winter you will find the crew plowing snow at all times of day and night. They are also out deicing to make sure the mess Mother Nature is throwing our way is taken care of for you. When the snow builds up too much we can take it away or pile it higher.
